Rochester, New Hampshire is going for a world record!The city of Rochester is hoping to break the Guinness World Record in simultaneous Frisbee throw. ![]()
On Sunday October 16, 2016 the Rochester community (and anyone else who wants to join in) will gather at The Lilac Mall and attempt to set a world record. Members of the Rochester Police Department and Rochester Fire Department will be in attendance, participating with their families.Revolution Tap Room will be offering hot chocolate and local MacDonald's restaurants will be offering food and coffee.Federal Savings Bank has donated 3000 Frisbees for the event. People are asked to please bring nonperishable food items to benefit local food pantries. In order to break the current record: More than 958 people must participate.Participants must be first grade and older.Frisbees must be thrown at the same time, at the sound of a signal.Frisbees must fly at least three meters. If you would like to participate, registration at the Lilac Mall begins at 7:30 am and the "toss" will take place between 9:15 and 9:30.
